EValuate is a measuring device that enables testing organizations or workshops to check the safety of electric vehicles in under 5 minutes. This includes safety-relevant parameters such as potential equalization, insulation resistance at the AC charging port, and checking the immobilizer when the charging cable is plugged in. These tests are particularly relevant in the context of future periodic technical inspections for electric vehicles. Furthermore, they provide important proof of safety after repair and maintenance work, which is relevant even for minor tasks such as bodywork, painting, or general repairs.

The battery-operated measuring device consists of two parts: a charging port unit that plugs directly into the vehicle's AC charging port and a test probe with an integrated display. This allows you to work flexibly around the entire vehicle. The EValuate can be connected to external software via Wi-Fi for automatic documentation of measurement results. All measured values are automatically evaluated in accordance with the ECE R 100 directive, displayed in corresponding colors, and indicated acoustically.

Minimization of Operating Errors

The insulation resistance measurement at the AC charging port is carried out fully automatically. There is no need to manually insert test probes or set the measuring range. This significantly reduces the risk of operating errors.

Integrated adapter

While other measuring devices require an additional adapter for the AC charging port, EValuate has the Type 2 AC charging plug integrated as a standard interface, allowing you to plug the device directly into the vehicle. A alligator clip that can be attached to the EValuate enables the measurement of the potential equalization even on vehicles that do not have a charging port but still possess HV components (e.g., mild hybrid or hydrogen vehicles).

Precision through four-wire measurement technology

For precise results during equipotential bonding measurement, the EValuate is equipped with a Kelvin test probe (four-wire measurement technology). This
eliminates the influence of contact and lead resistances and removes the need for zero balancing.

Easy handling

The display integrated into the test probe enables simple and flexible operation. Thanks to the integrated LEDs, you can read the status of the measurement results at a glance.
