AVL DITEST SPEED 2000

The AVL DITEST SPEED 2000 is the easiest, the fastest and the most universal way to carry out engine speed measurements for petrol and diesel engines - both statically and dynamically. The combination sensor for recording revolution speed (which measures the vibration and the sound of the engine) is installed with a magnetic foot at or near the engine.

The structure-borne sound analysis (engine vibration) as well as the air-borne sound analysis (noise of the motor) is used for the revolution speed detection. Having developed unique processing software, it is possible to evaluate highly dynamic revolution speeds precisely. It is as simple as that, even for motorcycles, whether 4-stroke or 2-stroke engines.
