The international pioneer in automotive diagnostics and measurement technology has been proving its expertise on the market for 25 years.

AVL DiTEST can look back on an impressive quarter of a century. The success story began in 1999 when the business unit was spun off from the AVL Group. As an independent company, AVL DiTEST focused on diagnostic technology and exhaust gas measurement in its early years and expanded its sales activities and customer base worldwide. From the outset, the company played a central role in the development of modern diagnostic equipment for the automotive industry. By the early 2000s, its customers already included renowned testing organisations and leading vehicle and motorcycle manufacturers.

Research and development have always been at the heart of the company's activities and have repeatedly earned the Graz-based company a pioneering position. Back in the 2010s, AVL DiTEST developed a device for testing electric and hybrid vehicles, thereby becoming a market leader. AVL DiTEST also scored highly in the field of air conditioning service with the development of an innovative CO2 air conditioning service device. The above-average research and development ratio of over ten percent underscores these intensive efforts.

All products from AVL DiTEST, whether exhaust gas measuring devices, diagnostic solutions, air conditioning service devices or measuring devices for testing electric vehicles, are committed to sustainability. With its measuring and testing devices, the company has always made a significant contribution to the sustainable use of resources and the reduction of the carbon footprint.

At the beginning of September, AVL DiTEST celebrated its 25th anniversary in the soap factory with an entertaining evening programme and culinary delights. To mark the anniversary, WKÖ Vice-President Herbert Ritter and Trade Association Managing Director Helmut Röck presented a certificate to AVL DiTEST Managing Director Gerald Lackner, who has been steering the company's fortunes since its inception.
