The CO₂ air conditioning system (R744) is superior to today's R1234yf system in terms of efficiency, cooling dynamics and environmental compatibility. Well-known vehicle manufacturers have recognized this potential and will increasingly rely on the natural, eco-friendly and advanced refrigerant CO₂ in the future. AVL DiTEST supports vehicle manufacturers with new and unique innovations. The ADS 310 air conditioning service unit was developed in cooperation with them, giving workshops the opportunity for the first time to perform repairs and maintenance on CO₂ air conditioning systems. Safety, environmental protection and economic efficiency were naturally the primary focus during the development of the unit.
